Recipe Ingredients for vegan black bean brownie recipe

1.5 cup Whole Wheat Flour
2.25 cup Sugars, Granulated
1.25 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1.5 cup, chopped Hazelnuts Or Filberts
15.5 oz Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
4 tsp dry Coffee, Instant, Regular, Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for vegan black bean brownie recipe

  1. Rinse black beans, then return to can & fill can with water. Puree beans till nice & smooth.

  2. Put dry ingredients & nuts in bowl.

  3. Add pureed beans, vanilla, plus additional cup of water.

  4. Mix.

  5. Place in greased 9x13 dish.

  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, rotating the dish half-way through.

  7. DO NOT OVERBAKE, since they continue baking while cooling. Edges should pull away slightly from pan when ready to remove from oven.
