Recipe Ingredients for vegan alfredo

12 oz whole wheat spaghetti
1/2 cup cashews
1 1/2 cup water
2 tbs nutritional yeast
1 tbs olive oil
1 tsp lemon juice
1 salt and pepper to taste
1 garlic clove

Recipe Directions for vegan alfredo

  1. boil noodles and reserve starch 1 1/2 c. water

  2. in food blender crush cashews, add olive oil

  3. lemon juice

  4. garlic and cooking water

  5. salt and pepper to taste

  6. warm over stove to thicken

  7. add noodles

  8. serve hot
