Makes 3 servings



Uses 1 cup dry great northern beans or 3 cups (??)cooked. Be careful to not bake too long, it will dry out.

Recipe Ingredients for Veg. Baked Beans

3 cups cooked Great Northern beans
2 tablespoons dry onion flakes
2/3 cup tap water
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon molasses
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 clove garlic
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Veg. Baked Beans

  1. Mix dried onions with beans. Put mixture in 1-qt. casserole dish.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients. Mix well and pour over beans - should cover the beans.

  3. Bake at 325 for about 1 hr.
