Recipe Ingredients for Vanilla-Yogurt French Toast

2 slices wheat bread
1.28 ounces 99% fat free yoplait yogurt
0.08 cup lowfat milk 2%
3/5 egg
0.33 tsp vanilla extract
0.08 tsp ground cinnamon
0.08 tsp ground nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Vanilla-Yogurt French Toast

  1. In a medium bowl, beat together eggs, yogurt, milk, salt, spices and vanilla extract.

  2. Heat a lightly oiled skillet on medium heat.

  3. Submerge each slice into the egg mixture, soaking both sides.

  4. Place in pan, and cook on both sides until golden-brown. You can place completed French Toast slices on a serving plate in an oven set to 100 degrees -- to keep finished slices warm as you cook the others.

  5. Serve each slice topped with a dollop of yogurt and sprinkled with berries.
