I jut made this recipe up today and it is outstanding

Recipe Ingredients for Vanilla & Pomegranate Granola

2 cups wheat flakes
2 cups oats
3 cups rye flakes
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup pecans
1/4 cup walnuts
1 cup wheat germ
3/4 cup coconut
1/4 cup hazelnuts
1 cup maple syrup
1 tbs vanilla
1 tbs pomegranate syrup
1/4 cup vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Vanilla & Pomegranate Granola

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Note: All nuts except hazelnuts are chopped

  2. Combine wet ingredients in a measuring cup

  3. Pour over dry ingredients and stir until well combined

  4. Place on shallow baking sheets (no more than a 1/2 inch deep.

  5. Bake at 250 for 60-90 minutes rotating the sheets every thirty minutes.
