3/4 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1 egg
1/4 cup almond breeze original unsweetened (almond milk)
1 1/5 cups seasoned bread crumbs
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup all-purpose flour

Recipe Directions for Vanessa's Green Bean Fries - Healthy Style

  1. preheat oven to 400

  2. steam green beans until they are crispy and bright green

  3. meanwhile: whisk the egg and milk together

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder

  5. rinse beans in cold water, then take green beans and toss with flour to coat, shaking off the excess. Dip the beans into the egg mixture and then into the bread crumbs, coating thoroughly

  6. bake until golden and crisp
