Recipe Ingredients for Valentine Heart Rice Crispy Treats

6 cup Rice Krispies
3 tbsp Butter
10 oz Marshmallows Mini
4 tbsp Nutella Hazelnut Spread
2 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
12 oz The Decadent Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup Peanut Butter, Smooth Style

Recipe Directions for Valentine Heart Rice Crispy Treats

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or waxed paper. Place crispy rice cereal in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Heat butter, marshmallows, chocolate hazelnut spread in a small saucepan over medium meat, stirring until melted. Pour over crispy rice cereal and stir until combined.

  3. Pour mixture onto prepared baking sheet, pressing to form a firm rectangle. Let rice crispy treats mixture cool completely.

  4. Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave-safe container. Heat on 50% power for 1 minute, Stir and repeat until chocolate chips are completely melted. Pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the rice crispy treats. Let cool completely.

  5. Cut rice crispy treats into heart shapes with a heart cookie cutter (compare prices). Top with a heart shaped candy, if desired.
