Rich and delicious dessert for Valentine's Day. Not diet friendly.

Recipe Ingredients for Valentine Berries and Cream Mousse

8 oz Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 tbsp shortening
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 c butter, softened
1 c. Domino Confectioners Sugar
1/3 c cocoa powder
2 tbs fat free milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c heavy cream, divided
1 cup strawberry, wash, dried, hulled and halved

Recipe Directions for Valentine Berries and Cream Mousse

  1. Lined a heart-shape or square pan with foil. Melt chocolate with shortening. Stir until nice and smooth. Pour into pan. Swirl to coat pan, bottom and up the side. Refrigerate 1 minute and swirl around pan again. Do this a couple more times. By doing this, you are making a nice, even shell for the mousse. Refrigerate until firm.

  2. Mix cocoa powder and confectioner's sugar and set aside.

  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until nice and fluffy. Add cocoa powder and sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Mix until blended.

  4. Whip heavy cream until firm peak.

  5. Mousse: Take two-thirds of whipped cream and fold it into your cream cheese/cocoa mixture. Keep folding until blended, but do not stir.

  6. Take chocolate shell out of the fridge and peel away foil. Put shell on serving plate and fill with mousse mixture.

  7. Take remaining whip cream and put into a decorating bag with decorating tip and pipe around top of mousse. For final touch, arrange strawberries on top.

  8. Enjoy!
