Recipe Ingredients for Vadai - Methu (Ulundhu)

1 cup black gram
2 oz green chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp salt
12 tsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Vadai - Methu (Ulundhu)

Soak the urad dhal in water for 2 hours. Grind it with salt nicely by slightly splinkling water. Note, adding too much water would spoil the vada. Add green chillies, pepper, cumin seeds, curry leaves and mix the batter. Heat oil in a pan and take small amout of batter and make it like a donut. Fry the vada in the oil until it turns out crispy golden brown.
