You can cut down some items in fat and sodium. Use either ground turkey or very lean beef. Chili beans or kidney beans can be used. Low sodium V-8 Juice can be used.

Recipe Ingredients for V-8 Chili

1 lb ground beef
1 onion
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1 1/2 cups V-8 juice
1 can beans, kidney, all types

Recipe Directions for V-8 Chili

Cook ground beef, onions, chili powder and cumin until beef is browned. Add other ingredients. Cover and simmer for at least 15 minutes.
