Recipe Ingredients for Unsweetened Spiced Granola

3 cup quick oats
1/2 cup graham flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Unsweetened Spiced Granola

  1. preheat oven to 275 degrees.

  2. Mix dry flours and spices together

  3. Stir in applesauce until mixture is slightly moist. add in water a tbsp at a time. careful not to make too moist. Should be just damp.

  4. bake about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 until evenly brown.

  5. Add Raisins, bananas, nuts or seeds, whatever.
