This recipe leaves out the rice. I'm serving over potatoes but usually put in some cooked rice or cous cous.

Recipe Ingredients for Unstuffed Peppers

3 bell peppers
1 onion
8 ounce can tomato sauce
1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
1/2 pound Lean Turkey Italian Sausage

Recipe Directions for Unstuffed Peppers

Dice peppers and onions and saute in pan sprayed with cooking spray. Add meat and cook until browned. Drain, if needed. Add tomato sauce and warm through. Serve over potatoes, rice, or cous cous.
