Recipe Ingredients for Unstuffed Cabbage

8 oz extra lean ground turkey
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1 package Italian Salad Dressing Mix {218006]
16 oz. crushed tomatoes
1 medium shredded cabbage
1 cup water
1 cup instant brown rice, uncooked

Recipe Directions for Unstuffed Cabbage

  1. BROWN meat and onion with dressing packet in large skillet or Dutch oven on medium-high heat 4 to 6 minutes or until meat is cooked through.

  2. ADD tomatoes and cabbage; stir. Reduce heat to simmer; cover tightly. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until cabbage is tender.

  3. STIR in water and rice; bring to boil. Cover; reduce heat and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir and cover. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

  4. Number of Servings: 4
