Recipe Ingredients for Uncle Mike's Hiker Bar Beef & Barley

1 tbsp chopped Onions
1/2 cup Vegetables, Mixed
1 tablespoonful Natural Nutritional Yeast
2 oz Sweet Potato
0.5 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Uncle Mike's Hiker Bar Beef & Barley

  1. cook barley per instructions on package with stock cube

  2. brown beef and onions in olive oil

  3. add diced sweet potatoe and mixed vegetables

  4. saute until potato become semisoft

  5. add barley to meat/veg mixture

  6. partially mash to break up veg.

  7. let cool and stir in yeast

  8. form into a bar, 2"x6", pressing firmly

  9. dry in dehydrator until moisture is removed

  10. seal in ziploc sandwich bag, removing as much air as possible

  11. use seal-a-meal to wrapin in plastic again.
