This chili is great! A weekly staple for my family. We serve it over rice and then the next day we eat it over potatoes! Great by itself too :-)

Recipe Ingredients for Uncle Jim's Chili

4 cups Beans, Kidney, All Types, Mature Seeds, Canned
2 cups Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1/2 lb Beef, Ground, 80% Lean Meat / 20% Fat, Crumbles
3 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tsp Oregano, Ground
1/2 tsp Salt

Recipe Directions for Uncle Jim's Chili

  1. Brown Hamburger then drain

  2. Add Tomatoes and kidney beans (I like 1 can dark, 2 cans light) Do not drain either.

  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, oregano and salt. Add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to taste if you like it spicy.

  4. Bring to a boil and serve over rice, potatoes or by itself!
