1 serving = 4t. To prepare, put dry mix with 8t water or soymilk. Whisk over medium heat until thick. This ratio of mix to liquid will give you a thick sauce, like alfredo. Adjust the amount of liquid for thicker or thinner "cheese." You can also blend with soft tofu for more of a spreadable cheese or dip. Experiment with spices depending on what you're making.

1/3 cup cashews
2/3 cup oats
2/3 cup nutritional yeast
2 t salt
2 t garlic
1 dash mustard powder
3 T cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Uncheese mix

Grind cashews, sunflower seeds, and oats one at a time in a coffee grinder until powdery. Put in a large bowl with remaining ingredients and mix well. This mix will keep in a jar or covered container in the refrigerator for several weeks.
