Recipe Ingredients for Ultimate Chili

1/2 lb beef sirloin steak, trimmed of fat and cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1 tbsp canola oil, divided
1 1/2 onions, chopped
120 g green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 fresh jalepeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tbsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
6 oz light beer
14 oz canned diced tomatoes
8 g sun-dried tomatoes (not packed in oil) snipped into small pieces
1 g bay leaf
28 oz kidney beans
1 tbsp lime juice

Recipe Directions for Ultimate Chili

  1. Season beef with salt and pepper. Heat 1 1/2 tsp oil in a dutch oven over medium high heat. Add half the been and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides, 2 to 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towls. Rpeat with another 1 1/2 tsp oil and remaining beef.

  2. Reduce heat to medium and add remaining oil to the pot. Add onions and bell peppers. Cook
