A thin porridge that is a common Kenyan breakfast.

Recipe Ingredients for Uji

1/4 cups millet flour
3/4 cups corn flour
4 cups water
5 bananas

Recipe Directions for Uji

  1. Mix flours with 1 cup water.

  2. Separately boil 3 cups water.

  3. Add wet flour to the boiling water while stirring.

  4. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes.

  5. Add salt, sugar, margarine, butter, cinnamon, etc to taste.
