Greek yogurt sauce for gyros, raw veggies, etc.

Recipe Ingredients for Tzatziki Sauce

16 ounces greek yogurt
1 1/2 tsp garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup mint leaves, fresh chopped
1 large cucumber - peeled, seeded and shredded
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/4 tsp dill

Recipe Directions for Tzatziki Sauce

  1. Drain excess water.

  2. Shred the cucumber, press excess liquid out of the shredded cucumber.

  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the cucumber, onion and strained yogurt.

  4. Mix in the garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice and mint.

  5. Chill the mixture for 1 to 2 hours.
