Recipe Ingredients for Two toned brownies

1 cup quick cooking oats
1/3 cup flour
1/4 t. soda
1/8 t. salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup butter
2/3 cups flour
1/4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
3/4 cups sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup skim milk
1 t. vanilla

Recipe Directions for Two toned brownies

  1. ADD ROLLED OATS TO DRY INGREDIENTS. POUR MELTED BUTTER ONTO MIXTURE AND STIR. PRESS INTO A 9 BY 9 INCH PAN AND BAKE 350 DEGREES FOR 10 MINUTES

  2. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add sugar and egg to chocolate mixture. add flour and stir. Add milk and vanilla, mixing well. Pour over oatmeal layer and bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes
