Recipe Ingredients for Two-Tomato Pasta

8 oz uncooked bow tie pasta
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic, minced
2 tsp flour
1 can (5 1/2 oz) evaporated milk
6 plum tomatoes, quartered
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Two-Tomato Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in large skillet, saute onion in oil until tender. Add garlic; saute 1-2 min longer.

  2. Combine flour and milk until smooth: gradually add to skillet. Bring to boil; cook and stir for 2 mins until thickened. Add the tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and salt. Reduce heat; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Drain pasta; stir into tomato mixture.
