Recipe Ingredients for Two Bean Chili

1 large onion, chopped
2 tsp dried oregano, crushed
2 tsp canola or olive oil
29 oz diced tomato, undrained
15 1/2 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained
15 1/2 oz can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup salsa

Recipe Directions for Two Bean Chili

  1. In a large sauce pan cook onion and hot oil over medium heat until tender

  2. Stir in undrained tomatoes, beans, and salsa

  3. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered for 25 minutes

  4. I like to top each serving with 2oz cooked ground turkey breast and 1/3- 1/2 an avocado
