Recipe Ingredients for Two-bean Chili with beef

2 large onions
1 c. mushrooms
28 oz. diced tomatoes
26 1/2 oz. tomato sauce
7 oz pinto beans
8 oz great northern beans
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef

Recipe Directions for Two-bean Chili with beef

  1. Soak the beans overnight.

  2. In a cast iron skillet, saute the onions and mushrooms using spray olive oil just covering the pan.

  3. Add the meat and brown.

  4. Transfer the meat and vegetables to a large deep cook pot and add all the other ingredients.
