Recipe Ingredients for Tuscan White Bean Spread

1 1/2 c great Northern beans, 1-15 oz. can rinsed and drained
1 clove garlic, large
1 T lemon juice, fresh squeezed
2 tsp white wine vinegar
2 sprigs flat-leaf Italian parsley, fresh
2 leaves basil
1 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp oregano, dried
1 dash red pepper flakes
3/4 c olive oil
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper, fresh ground

Recipe Directions for Tuscan White Bean Spread

  1. In food proccessor with metal blade or a blender, combine beans, garlic, lemon juice, vinegar, parsley, basil, mustard, oregano, and pepper flakes to taste. Puree until smooth.

  2. With proccessor or blender running, slowly add the oil until completely absorbed.

  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
