Recipe Ingredients for Tuscan Onion Soup

32 oz Onions
32 oz Natural Foods - Organic Chicken Broth
1 cup, chopped Carrots
1 cup, diced Celery
2 oz Pancetta
5 serving Cheese
1 tsp Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tsp Thyme, Fresh

Recipe Directions for Tuscan Onion Soup

  1. cook down pancetta with carrots and celery until the fat runs.

  2. Add onions thinly sliced to the mixture, cook gently for 1 hour or until the onions liquify into a golden mixture.

  3. Add stock and seasonings. Allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add cheese, stir, serve immediately.
