Cannellini beans with onions, carrots, and celery

Recipe Ingredients for Tuscan Beans

412 g cannellini beans
116 g chopped onion
150 g chopped carrot
100 g chopped celery
1 cloves garlic
1/2 t rosemary
1/2 t sage
1/2 t oregano
2 t lemon zest

Recipe Directions for Tuscan Beans

  1. saute celery, carrots, onion, and garlic in small amt broth.

  2. rinse and drain beans and add to vegetables.

  3. add herbs and lemon peel. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  4. add broth and simmer 15 minutes.

  5. Seve with grated parmesan cheese.

  6. Serving = 262 g
