Taste better than potato hashbrowns and much healthier. Hold their shape better than potatoes and are slightly sweet.

Recipe Ingredients for Turnip Hashbrowns

4 cups turnips, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Turnip Hashbrowns

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet.

  2. Add turnips, turning to evenly brown surfaces.

  3. Add butter and toss. Bring temperature down to medium if necessary to avoid turnips darkening too much.

  4. Add salt and cinnamon and toss, just before serving
