Recipe Ingredients for Turnip and Apple Salad

5 small Turnips
1 medium apple Apples
1 lemon yields Lemon Juice
0.5 tbsp Olive Oil
1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
20 grams Walnut Halves
1 dash Salt, Table
1/4 tsp Spices Ground Black Pepper

Recipe Directions for Turnip and Apple Salad

  1. Remove greens from turnip. Peel and grate turnip roots.

  2. Core, peel and grate apple.

  3. Mix apple and turnips and add lemon juice, and olive oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add dried cranberries.

  4. Cover bowl and refrigerate for ~1 hr. Sprinkle crushed walnut halves just before serving.
