My favorite fastfood. Including the lettuce & sauce topping. Only thing missing is the 2-3 tbsp serving of garlic sauce.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkish Pizza (Lahmacun)

2 cups bread flour, divided
1 tsp sugar
4 1/2 tsp yeast, dry
2 cups water, warm, divided (40 C)
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp olive oil
1/2 tsp cooking spray
500 g lamb, minced
2 tsp oregano, dried
2 tsp cumin, ground
1 tsp hot chili sauce
3/4 tsp black pepper, fresh & coarsly ground, divided
1 tsp olive oil
1 cup onions, finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt
5 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 ounce bay leave
28 ounces canned tomatoes, diced, undrained
10 ounces cheese, thinly sliced (kasseri)
1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
3 tbsp parsley, freshly minced
3 tbsp hot chili sauce

Recipe Directions for Turkish Pizza (Lahmacun)

  2. The lettuce parsley and sauces are added after baking.

  3. Then rolll it up and enjoy :)
