A delicious & nutritious Turkish favourite.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkish chickpea & beef stew

2 cups Chickpeas (Garbanzos)
3 large Onions
40 grams Peppers
250 grams Beef, Top Sirloin
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 teaspoon Chilli Powder
2 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Turkish chickpea & beef stew

  1. Pre prepare chickpeas the night before by soaking in water. (Allow half as much water again over the chickpeas as they will soak it all up)

  2. Chop up all other ingredients,

  3. Sauté beef first. Add onions and sauté for a further 2-3 minutes until soft. And add all other ingredients plus2 cups water and simmer for approx 20 mins.
