Homemade Lasagna with a healthy twist - lean turkey and lots of veggies

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Veggie Lasagna

3 medium carrots
3/4 cup chopped red pepper
1 cup chopped spinach
3/4 cup chopped onion
2 1/2 cups chopped zucchini
5 oz Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk Cheese
1140 ml tomato sauce
12 oz ground lean turkey
370 grams lasagna noodles
2 cups 1% cottage cheese
3/4 cup water

Recipe Directions for Turkey Veggie Lasagna

  1. use ready for oven noodles

  2. make sauce and add all of your chopped veggies - chop them very finely.

  3. in pan, fry turkey with 1 tsp olive oil.

  4. add water to final sauce

  5. layer sauce - noodle - cottage cheese & sauce - noodle - sauce & mozzarella cheese - noodle - sauce and light cheese.

  6. bake 350F for 1.5 hours
