Turkey Tetrazzini Recipe

The classic Thanksgiving leftovers recipe, but lower in fat and with whole wheat spaghetti!

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Tetrazzini

10 ounces turkey
6 ounces whole wheat spaghetti
12 ounces non-fat sour cream
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Turkey Tetrazzini

  1. Begin boiling the water for the spaghetti. Add salt if desired. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. While waiting for the water to boil, chop the turkey into cubes.

  3. When the water begins boiling, add the spaghetti. When al dente, drain.

  4. In a separate mixing bowl, blend the cans of soup, the turkey, and the sour cream. Mix until blended thoroughly.

  5. Once the spaghetti has drained, spread along the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan. Pour the mixture of turkey, soup, and sour cream over the noodles and spread evenly.

  6. Sprinkle the Parmesan evenly over the mixture.

  7. Bake in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until the sauce is bubbling and the Parmesan begins to turn brown.

  8. Perfect to freeze, or eat after it's cooled.
