Recipe Ingredients for turkey tetrazzini

10 ozs. white button mushrooms
5 T. margarine
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 3/4 cups skim milk
2 cups fat free chicken broth
1/4 cup white wine
10 ozs. whole wheat spaghetti
12 ozs. cooked turkey
1 cup cooked peas
2/3 cup grated Parmesan
1/3 cup fresh bread crumbs

Recipe Directions for turkey tetrazzini

  1. Saute mushrooms in 1/4 cup margarine. When most of the moisture has evaporated, add flour. Cook for 2 minutes. Combine next three ingredients. Add to mushroom/flour mixture. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Cook spaghetti and drain completely.

  3. In a bowl, combine spaghetti, mushroom sauce, peas, 1/3cup Parmesan and turkey. Pour into a buttered 3 quart casserole.

  4. Combine remaining cheese and bread crumbs. Top casserole. Dot with remaining margarine.

  5. Bake in a 375 degree oven 30 to 40 minutes, until it is bubbling and brown.
