Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Tangine with Lemons and Olives

28 oz turkey breast
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp olive oil
200 g chopped onion
12 g garlic
31.03 g fat free chicken broth
10 olives
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tsp cilantro
1 tbsp parsley, fresh

Recipe Directions for Turkey Tangine with Lemons and Olives

  1. Sprinkle turkey with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.

  3. Add turkey (1.5'' pieces), cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned.

  4. Remove turkey from pan.

  5. Add onion and garlic to pan, bring to a boil, cook 30 seconds stirring constantly.

  6. Add turkey, broth, olives, cinnamon and ginger, bring to a boil.

  7. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.

  8. Turn turkey over, cook uncovered for 15 minutes.

  9. Remove turkey from pan.

  10. Add lemon rind, juice, cilantro and parsley to pan, cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly.

  11. Spoon Sauce over turkey.
