Ground turkey is leaner than ground beef, but tastes just as yummy on these tacos.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Tacos

1 lb ground turkey
1 (package g) taco seasoning
2 oz. low fat sour cream
4 oz. Reduced Fat Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese
2 cups shredded lettuce
8 whole wheat tortillas
2 oz. salsa

Recipe Directions for Turkey Tacos

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground turkey on medium heat. Drain the meat of any grease and add back to the skillet. Pour on the taco seasoning and stir in. Turn the heat down to low to keep it warm.

  2. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Spoon the meat onto a tortilla. Add sour cream, cheese, lettuce and salsa to each taco.
