Lighter version of an old favorite

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Swedish Meatballs

1/2 pound 99% fat free ground turkey
1 large egg
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 t dried basil
1/2 t dried oregano
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t onion powder
1 cup reduced fat sour cream
1/2 cup fat free half and half
1 T beef bouillon
1 t garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Turkey Swedish Meatballs

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix first 7 ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.

  3. Roll meat mixture into approximatley 16 balls and place on a baking sheet

  4. Bake for 20 minutes and then set aside.

  5. In medium pot combine remaining ingredients over medium low heat. Be careful not to boil.

  6. Add meatballs and let simmer on low for 5 minutes. Serve.

  7. Serving size 2 meat balls.
