Large tomatoes stuffed with ground turkey, peppers and cheese.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Stuffed Tomatoes

2 tomato Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
0.3 lb Poultry food products, ground turkey, raw
1.65 oz Fat Free Cheddar
330 grams Mild Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies
1/4 cup Bread Crumbs Italian Style

Recipe Directions for Turkey Stuffed Tomatoes

  1. Brown the ground turkey.

  2. Slice off the top of the tomato and scoop out the insides.

  3. In a bowl mix the 10 oz can of Ro-Tel with 1/3 cup cheese and 1/4 cup bread crumbs and browned turkey.

  4. Stuff tomatoes with mixture and top with the remaining 1/3 cup cheese.

  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
