Recipe Ingredients for Turkey and Split Pea Soup

1 1/2 cups yellow split peas
1 cup celery
1 cup onion
1 1/2 cup carrots
1 clove garlic
1 pinch thyme
1 pinch pepper
1 tbs olive oil
4 cups low sodium vegetable broth
1 oz Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast

Recipe Directions for Turkey and Split Pea Soup

  1. Saute onions,garlic, carrot and celery in olive oil.

  2. Chop turkey breast into ham size chunks and add to saute.

  3. Cook veggies, peas in broth and spices.

  4. Puree to liking add the saute.

  5. Serve.
