Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Spaghetti sauce +

866 g lean ground turkey
1 small onion
2 1/2 red peppers
1360 ml tomato sauce
2 tbsp Italiano
2 cups 1% cottage cheese
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp minced garlic

Recipe Directions for Turkey Spaghetti sauce +

  1. Brown onion and garlic in olive oil.

  2. Add ground turkey and fry until cooked through.

  3. Add yellow peppers and cook until browned a bit.

  4. Add tomato sauce, carrots and seasoning

  5. Stir in cottage cheese

  6. Simmer until veggies are cooked to your liking.

  7. Serve over Pasta if desired.

  8. Also, if you simmer it long enough, the cottage cheese "disappears" and your husband never knows you snuck it in!
