This is good on a chilly night. Serve with warm bread and green salad. Only do occassionally!

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Sausage & Wheat Tortellini

1 lb Extra Lean Ground Turkey
1 tbs extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 tsp dried sage
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 pint grape tomatoes
2/3 cup reduced sodium chicken broth 99% fat free
20 oz Whole Wheat Three Cheese Tortellini

Recipe Directions for Turkey Sausage & Wheat Tortellini

  1. Brown Turkey in oil in large skillet over medium high heat

  2. add onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic, fennel seeds, sage and pepper flakes-cook about 3 minutes until vegs are getting soft

  3. while this is cooking, cook tortellini in boiling water

  4. add chicken broth, cook until bubbly

  5. add grape tomatoes, cook until heated

  6. add cooked tortellini, mix well
