A quick saute of turkey sausage, winter squash and aromatics

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Sausage with Squash

3 ounce turkey sausage
3/4 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup onion
2 tbsp chopped sage
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 cups acorn squash, roasted
1/2 cup red pepper, roasted
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp shredded parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Turkey Sausage with Squash

  1. Saute turkey sausage until brown

  2. Saute onions in separate pan until translucent, add sage and red pepper flakes to bring out flavor

  3. Add squash, red peppers and sausage, heat thoroughly

  4. Stir in balsamic vinegar and brown sugar until mixed thoroughly

  5. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
