Sausage is great for breakfast, but is delicious at other meals as well. For Italian - add 1/2 tsp marjoram, 1/2 tsp coriander and 1/2 tsp rosemary.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Sausage Patties

1 lb turkey breast (lean ground)
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 cup chicken broth (sodium free)

Recipe Directions for Turkey Sausage Patties

  1. Combine turkey and dry spices in large bowl. Mix together thoroughly.

  2. Add chicken broth, mixing well. Let stand 15-20 minutes.

  3. Form turkey into 8 patties, aprpox 3/4 inches thick

  4. Cook patties in non-stick skillet over medium heat, 7-8 minutes on each side, or until thoroughly cooked.
