You're basically making your own sausage from ground turkey and turning into sausage cheese balls. After they're cooked, they freeze beautifully for a quick breakfast.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Sausage Breakfast Balls

1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp rubbed sage
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese

Recipe Directions for Turkey Sausage Breakfast Balls

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Using your hands, combine all ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

  3. Spray a cooking rack with non stick spray and place on top of a cookie sheet.

  4. Form into 16 1" balls and place on the rack on top of a cookie sheet.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes.
