Turkey Rice Soup Recipe

Self explanatory. I added turkey for not only flavor bur protien. The soup has helped me lose the few pounds with added exercise 3-5 times a week. You can alter the recipe by adding different veggies, spices etc.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey rice soup

16 cups water
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup tomato juice
3 carrots
1 onion
2 cups celery
2 cups Bok Choy
2 cups cabbage
1 cup mushroom
1 cup green onion
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 1/2 cups rice
1 1/2 cups ground turkey

Recipe Directions for Turkey rice soup

  1. Cut veggies add to pot, fill enough water to cover veggies. Add broth, your choice of spices, tomato juice, and other liquids.

  2. Cook on high till veggies are tender. Turn down to minimum heat.

  3. Add turkey, which I usually season and form

  4. Into small balls.

  5. Add cooked rice.

  6. Longer it simmers the more flavor usually done in hour or so. Altogether 2-3 hours.

  7. NOTE: I eyeball everything in this recipe, the amount of ingredients may not be correct. Along with the amount of servings sizes. I hope the recipe is enjoyable I know my family loves it.
