this recipe is easily adapted to taste,just change the seasoning to make it southwestern or whatever you like.it is a very quick easy to make meal that even appeals to my 4 little picky eaters.

Recipe Ingredients for turkey rice skillet

1 lb ground turkey
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup onion
1/2 cup celery
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp poultry seasoning
2 1/2 cups water or chicken broth
1 cup rice

Recipe Directions for turkey rice skillet

Heat skillet.Add oil.Brown turkey add veggies,spices,salt and pepper when turkey is about halfway browned.add water or broth .bring to a boil.add rice.bring to a boil.cover pan .lower heat to medium.cook 15-20 minutes until rice has absorbed all of the liquid.serve and enjoy.
