Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Quinoa Meatballs

1 1/4 lbs. ground turkey, lean
1/2 c. quinoa
1/4 c. eggbeaters
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 oz cheese, romano
1 tsp oregano

Recipe Directions for Turkey Quinoa Meatballs

  1. cook 1/2 c quinoa according to package directions, let cool, add to ground turkey.

  2. mix in all other ingredients.

  3. form into golf ball sized balls and drop raw balls into simmering sauce.

  4. simmer at least 30 minutes.

  5. for accounting purposes I list 1 meatball as 1 serving.
