Bacon and turkey take a classic leek and potato soup into the hearty zone for a warming meal that's perfect on a fall or winter night.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey, Potato, & Leek Soup

2 cups turkey
2 cups water
250 g (1 cube) vegetable bouillon with salt & herbs
19 g (3 slices) bacon, coarsely chopped
3 1/2 cups potatoes, coarsely chopped
1 large leek, sliced
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup heavy cream

Recipe Directions for Turkey, Potato, & Leek Soup

  1. Cook bacon in large pot, adding potatoes and leeks just before bacon is crisp. Cook for about 5 minutes.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the cream, and cook until potatoes are tender.

  3. Add cream and cook for 5 minutes more.

  4. Serve hot.
