Quick turkey pot pie using fat free soup to lower fat content.

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Pot Pie

2 frozen pie crusts
8 oz condensed fat free cream of chicken soup
1 cup skim milk
8 oz turkey breast
2 cups mixed vegetables, I use frozen Veg-All
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Turkey Pot Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

  2. thaw frozen pie shell or if using the rolled kind form into the pie dish.

  3. combine all ingredients, you do not have to thaw vegetables.

  4. I add extra pepper.

  5. spoon mixture into pie crust

  6. top with additional crust, flute edges and cut off any excess. add three slits to the top for venting.

  7. place on a cookie sheet to catch spills.

  8. bake for 50 - 60 minutes checking the edges after 20 min. if the edges are too brown cover with foil.
