Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Orzo with Dried Cherries and Feta Cheese

1.75 cup Orzo
20 oz Turkey Breast Strips
2.75 cup Chicken Broth
1 medium raw Onion Red
0.5 cup Dried Cherries
2 tbsp Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
4 clove Garlic
0.5 tsp Pepper, Black
0.25 tsp Salt, Table
6 cups Baby Spinach
0.5 cup Reduced Fat Feta Traditional Crumbled
0.25 cup, sliced Almonds
1 tbsp Parsley

Recipe Directions for Turkey Orzo with Dried Cherries and Feta Cheese

  1. Coat a large skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium heat. Add orzo; cook and stir for 3-4 minutes or until golden.

  2. Coat a 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add orzo, turkey, broth, onion, cherries, lemon juice, garlic, pepper, and salt.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.

  4. Serve mixture on top of spinach. Sprinkle with cheese, almonds and parsley.
