Excellent Slow Cooker recipe from Cooking Light Magazine. Notes I used a cinnamon stick and 4 sprigs of thyme CC could not size these

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey with Olilves and Dried Cherries

1 cup leek, thinly sliced
1 cup red wine
3/4 cup dried cherries
20 kalamata olives, pitted
1/3 cup orange juice
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp red pepper, crushed
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp ground cumin
29 oz turkey breast, boneless skinless

Recipe Directions for Turkey with Olilves and Dried Cherries

  1. Combine first 9 ingredients + 1/2 tsp of salt in slow cooker.

  2. Rinse turkey pat dry sprinkle with Remaining salt and cumin. Place in slow cooker Cover and cook on low 6 hours.

  3. Serve with Couscous or Brown Rice
